FAQ
How do you pronounce your surname?
Zabel rhymes with table.
What happens in the free session?
In our getting to know each other session, I will discuss contracting, find out more about you, and talk to you about what coaching is (if that would be beneficial for you). This session is more about learning how we could work together and if you feel comfortable with me as a coach.
What are your qualifications?
I have an ILM 5 in Effective Coaching and Mentoring and 5 years of formal coaching experience for people who are leaving home for the first time, studying at a higher level institution, having just gotten a new neurodivergent diagnosis, going back to studies after a gap, starting their own business, retiring, and home life changes. I also have a masters degree and bachelors degree in a different subject area. I engage with professional coaching supervision and other CPD. I also research and develop coaching frameworks.
Who are your clients?
I am happy to coach anyone! The majority of my clients are going through some sort of life change, transition, or challenge. I am open to coaching people who are just leaving home for the first time, getting their first "grown up job", getting married, having children, getting divorced, their children leaving home, perimenopause, menopause, gender transitioning, neurodivergent (diagnosed, undiagnosed or suspected), retiring, and any other life change that can happen!
Reviews
Former Client 1: I just want to thank you immensely for helping regain my motivation and find the ability to succeed. You were a huge help to me and I wouldn't have done it without your help during my last few months.
Former Client 2: I was very close to giving up but you helped motivate me to keep going and work out some really helpful strategies - not just strategies for my studies but life in general.
Former Client 3: I just wanted to say thank for all you have done for me this year, for the tissues, for the advice, for simply listening it's been invaluable. It was a huge change for me coming back to [...] after so long and at times I've felt out of my depth, but you really understood me and gave me the confidence to carry on. I have really appreacited having a safe non-judgemental space to talk to someone...
